EE was doing maintenance a shaker screen.While greasing the driveshaft he discovered one grease fittings was not accessible.He rolled the v-belt drive with his left hand to gain access to the fitting,by doing this he pinched his left index & middle finger in between the belt and drive sheave causing an open fracture on both fingers.
THE EMPLOYEE WAS PLACING HIS HAND ON THE RADIATOR FAN GUARD. HE ACCIDENTALLY STUCK HIS FINGER THROUGH THE MESH GUARD AND THE FAN FRACTURED HIS FINGER.
