Miner operating frontloader clearing drifts.While turning steering wheel, he felt a spontanous pain (like a pinched nerve) in L. shoulder joint. There was no collision, jostling, or disruption in cab when this feeling occured. Miner waited until next morning, when he said it was still sore, taken to Doctor. Work restriction for 1 week and NSAID meds. given, to be re-eval. 3/18.

Mostrando los 10Miner was operating a front loader near the face area of M/NM Limestone mine, when while traveling/loading rock from floor, the equip. blade struck a high spot of solid rock on the floor, stopping suddenly. Miner strained back. Seat belt was in use, Miner did not seek medical care till 06/22/06.
Miner stated while approaching an intersection, driving a frontend loader, he traveled across some rough surface, jarring him while his neck was slightly turned, causing some discomfort. Incident was reported to supervisor, but miner didn't seek medical treatment. Pain continued and miner seen by company doctor on 6/22/05. Working now with restrictions.
Miner was assigned to haul backfill material into mine. While watching material being dumped in mirrors, driver said he prepared to stop his truck, when his feet engaged the brake and accelarator together. Haul truck lurched forwarded and struck pillar. Driver walked a distance to the maint. shop and when being driven to medical clinic for drug screen, stated his back was sore.
EE WAS DRIVING A CLINE A22-R HAULAGE TRUCK TOWARDS THE WORKING FACE SECTION OF MINE ON A NEWLY ESTABLISHED SECTION OF HAUL ROAD WHEN THE DRIVER'S SIDE OF THE TRUCK DROVE ACROSS A LOW SPOT, JOLTING HIM IN HIS SEAT. HE WAS WEARING HIS SEATBELT. NO DAMAGE WAS FOUND TO TRUCK. HE STATED HIS BACK HURT. HE ALSO STATED SPEED MIGHT BE A FACTOR.
HAULING STONE FROM CRUSHER, LOST THE STEERING ON THE R-22, RAN OFF THE ROAD AND ROLLED THE VEHICLE ON ITS SIDE.
DRIVER WAS GETTING READY TO DUMP LOAD OF ROCK. TRUCK ENGINE WENT DEAD AND TRUCK LOST POWER. DRIVER WAS UNABLE TO STEER. TRUCK ROLLED DOWN HILL AND STRUCK POWER POLE.
LOST CONTROL OF HAUL TRUCK AND HIT PILLAR.
SURGERY ON 10/4/00 ON ELBOW THAT WAS INJURED EARLIER AND STARTED CAUSING COMPLICATIONS USING ELBOW FOR ELBOW.
TRUCK BROKE IN HALF TO AGE AND STRESS OF METAL.
