Employee stated that he took a ride to #1 Belt Tail to spray off batteries. He repositioned himself and turned allowing his hand to contact the sequence roller on the belt line. A short bolt was welded on the sequence roller for the sensor to identify the rotation of the roller. He was struck on the knuckle of his outermost metacarpal requiring 6 sutures.
