Employee was riding out of the mine on a section portal bus. As the bus traveled through a switch, the bus was jarred from side to side. The jarring motion allegedly caused a sprain/strain to the employee's lower left back. Employee completed shift and went to a doctor later that day. Employee has not returned to work.

Mostrando los 5Employee was along the track when a bus inby ee was entering a spur. The bus snagged the lifeline, stretching it tight, and breaking it. The lifeline snapped back toward employee and a directional cone hit ee on the cap light. Employee continued working but started feeling tingling in face and decided to seek medical aid. EE was transported to a local hospital.
Employee was assisting the loading of a belt tub onto a well bottom car. The tub needed re-positioned. Employee motioned the scoop operator to "slew" the tub over. The operator shoved the tub. Employee's foot was caught between the anchor point of the car and the tub. First aid was administered. Employee was transported via ambulance to a local hospital.
Employee was working on 12 Right belt. EE was waiting beside the belt for the belt to be shut off and tagged out. When the belt was stopped, a connector broke on the belt rail and allow the rail to snap sideways striking employee on the hand. Employee suffered a contusion to the hand. EE continued working until 4/29/2016 when doctor advised EE to rest the hand.
While splicing the 11 right belt, a self tightening dog was used to pull slack out of the take up. After the splice was completed the take up was tightened before the dog was removed causing the dog to come off and strike the employee in the right arm.
