Mostrando los 3The injured employee was using a Dingo TX 525 to remove accumulated material beneath a structure. While operating the equipment in reverse, the bucket contacted a vertical steel member. The sudden motion crushed EE's left wrist between the Dingo controls and the diagonal structural steel member. The diagnosis was a strain and contusion of the left wrist; no broken bones.
Contractor was in loader operator's blind spot when he was struck in the right thigh below his buttocks by the loader bucket. Both parties failed to communicate their intended actions to the other. The contact caused some deep bruising but no cuts or abrasions to the skin. Precautionary x-ray results were negative.
