As the employee trammed around the corner of the crosscut, EE grabbed the scoop canopy to pull self up and reposition self. The employee scrapped EE's finger between the scoop canopy and the coal rib, lacerating EE's finger. The employee received 7 sutures.
A buggy op was tramming S/C and leaned in to travel around a corner, EE accidentally hit the e-stop bar and stopped the car. it bounced the EE and EE struck EE's arm on the cab. EE was seen at the ER and released with a bruised arm. The EE went to a follow up appointment in the A.M. and EE's arm had swelled over night, the DR. made an incision to reduce swelling.
An EE parked EE's scoop and exited to wait for the shuttle car to tram by the EE was standing between the rib and the scoop bucket. The scoop bucket was sticking out past the corner of the rib, when the shuttle car was tramming through the entry and slid into the scoop bucket shoving it against the EE and pinning EE between the scoop and the rib.
A scoop operator, was dragging a structure tray behind the scoop tramming inby. The injured ee was walking behind the scoop and actually walked into the tray, the tray caught on a piece of rail and flipped the tray in the air causing the ee to go airborne. The ee hit the mine floor and the tray came down on top of EE's lower torso.
The Employee stated he went to help the scoop operator dust the faces. The Employee stated he was gathering the dust hoses for the wet duster and didn't realize he placed his foot under the scoop bucket. The scoop operator lowered the scoop bucket and did not know the other Employee had his foot under the edge of the scoop bucket. The scoop bucket lowered onto the helpers foot.
The Employee was operating an off standard center drive shuttle car, after being loaded by the continuous miner, the employee swung around to the inby seat with out setting his parking brake. When the Employee was swinging around to the inby seat, the shuttle car started rolling and caught his right leg against the rib. The result was a fractured tibia.
Employee was tramming a buggy around a corner and ran into rope hangers hanging from top, one caught his right nostril causing a laceration. (6 stitches)
The Employee stated that he was scooping an entry and caught a roof strap, the strap came around and hit the employee in the ear cutting his right ear.

The day shift crew was held up and did not leave right when they had called the dispatcher. The dispatcher did not let either crew know that each crew was on the rail. The day shift crew made it 770 feet underground and collided with the owl shift crew.

The employee was going to move two shuttle car tires from a intersection with a scoop. While tramming the scoop to the intersection there was a metal belt rail in the mud that the scoop operator did not see. The tire of the scoop kicked the belt rail up and cut the employee under his left arm.
Employee was the scoop operator, he was trying to pull a shuttle car off the feeder. He ran his scoop bucket on top of the shuttle car and the scoop dropped off the shuttle car and bounced employee inside the cab of the scoop, he hit his upper left rib cavity on the inside of the scoop cab causing a pulled ligament.
The #7 Mine uses bed ash to make roads with, it is similar to concrete. EE got bed ash on his pants and later got wet, he started operating a scoop. A short while after operating the scoop his legs broke out in a rash. He later went the Dr and the results were second degree burns.
Employee was tramming scoop when his canopy struck and tore a roof strap loose and it rotated and struck him on the back of his neck. Employee received 4 stiches.
Injured Foreman was traveling from the active face area, when he was struck by the shuttle car.
The operator was tramming the shuttle car and hit a hole in the haul road and hit his head on the shuttle car canopy. The operator sustained a bulged disc in his neck area.
We had completed our shift and gotten into a 4 man ride to exit the mine. The rest of the crew loaded onto the 12 man trip to exit. The operator of the 12 man ride accidently sent the mantrip into the rear end of our ride. His foot slipped of the brake and onto the accelerator.
MYSELF AND A CO-WORKER WERE HOOKING POD DUSTER TO THE SCOOP HITCH. THE SCOOP BACKED UP QUICKER AND FARTHER THAN WAS NEEDED AND PINCHED MY LEFT FINGER INTO THE CLEVIS ON THE POD DUSTER. THIS INJURY DID NOT INVOLVE ANY ASPECT OF COMPLIANCE WITH RULES OR REGULATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ATTITUDE, TRAINING OR PROTECTIVE ITEMS.
WE WAS MAKING A MOVE ON SECTION, I WAS HELPING COWORKER MOVE A BATTERY. I HOOKED UP CABL AND COWORKER PULLED UNIT INTO SCOOP. HOOK GOT LODGED BETWEEN BATTERY & SCOOP BUCKET. I COULDN'T GET HOO K LOOSE SO I ASKED COWORKER TO MOVE FORWARD TO LOOSEN CABL ON HOOK. THE THE RAM MOVED BACK AND CAUGHT MY RINGER FINGER & MIDDLE FINGER. THIS INJURY WAS NOT CAUSED BY ANY ASPECT OF COMPLIANCE
