Mostrando los 83 workers were cleaning up and moving items from the ground. A metal rub board was stood up against the continuous miner frame. When it started to fall, the employee grabbed it with left hand. It continued to fall causing employee's hand to come into contact with the miner frame. Bone fracture requiring a cast.
On 4/15/20 employee reported that on 4/11 at about 10:30 am, EE hurt EE's back while helping pull the miner cable. EE states that yesterday and today EE had pain in the right side of EE's lower back after certain body movements. Written off work for 3 days due to back strain.
Section down, 9 men left early (1:00-1:15PM). 9 men traveling on 13 man rail ride. Heard noise, stopped and determined that both leaf springs had twisted and caused ride to lower. They proceeded slowly and made regular stops. Ride struck end of rail, sudden stop, an employee's right side hit operator's compartment.
Employee was drilling on dual boom bolter and smashed finger (thumb) with a drill steel causing injury.
Employee cut arm between tailpiece and scoop. Employee pushed tailpiece up edge of scoop bucket and caught arm on scoop deck.
Employee hit finger with a hammer.
Working on foot shaft on Joy 14-9 continuous miner. Had scoop hook to change pulling it and got hit with claw in the back and rib on left side of body.
