At approximately 3:20 am on 8/10/26, the employee was working near a pump at Cypress sand. The employee removed two bolts securing a cleanout plug located on the bottom of the pump. While removing the cleanout plug, a mixture of water and sand discharged from the pump and struck the employee's left wrist, resulting in an injury to the affected area.

Employee was assisting in re-installing the cutter head on the dredge. While threading the cutter head onto the shaft, the chain that was around the cutter head slipped/tightened allowing a chain link to roll and pinch EE's left pinky finger in the chain links. This resulted in a degloving/open tuft facture to the left pinky finger requiring medical treatment.
