Employee was repairing water line on the south part of the property. Employee took short cut through ditch line, on state property, when repairs were finished. While descending embankment in ditch, employee loosened material and fell causing him to fracture his lower left leg. The ditch separates mine property and state property.

LIFTING MACK ENGINE WITH CHAIN HOOKED TO 988-B LOADER. LOADER OPERATOR SET ENGINE ON GROUND. EE UNHOOKED CHAIN & TRIED TO BALANCE WITH HIS LEG & COULDN'T HOLD IT UP. ENGINE ROLLED OVER PINNING HIM UNDERNEATH IT. RESULTING IN INJURY TO LEFT LEG AND LEFT SHOULDER.
