This incident initially believed to be a first aid. Worker reached up to open door on wash plant, lost his footing and fell with a hammer in his hand. The hammer bent his right ring finger back. X-ray showed broken finger. No lost time to date and surgery to be scheduled this week will be a day surgery - approximately 1/2 day and then employee will be able to return to work.

HE HIT THE GROUND WITH HIS FACE WHICH CAUSED THE INJURIES THAT HE SUS- TAINED. WAS THEN TAKEN TO E.R.
