Employee tried to stop a metal plate from falling while trying to position it to be welded.

While descending a ladder employee lost footing and fell sideways. Employee cut arm on an unknown piece of metal. Employee was taken to the hospital where employee received seven staples to close the wound. Employee released back to work with no restrictions.

Employee was turning flat rock stuck in cone crusher and lost his balance when the rock moved and banged his knee on the crusher feed inlet. He later felt pain in his knee and it started to swell. He went to the ER and was X-rayed and diagnosed with a sprain. He was given an immobilizer and crutches to use as instructed and to follow up in 3 to 7 days with a physician.
