The railcar did not stop completely when connecting to another railcar causing the employee to strike the railcar's railing. Employee bruised the right side of his ribcage (no fractures). Doctor issued 2-days of lost time. Employee returned to work full-duty on Monday, May 22.

Injured employee was stacking 50-lb. bags on a wooden pallet. He reached down to adjust a bag on the wooden pallet and alleges he felt a burning pain on his Right Side. Treating physician at the Hospital suspected a Hernia; however, Specialist confirmed as Groin Strain on April 26, 2005. Employee has work restrictions and has returned to work on Light Duty.
Employee was descending the Euclid E-25 Haul Truck's front access ladder and stepped off the ladder onto the ground and alleges he twisted his Left Knee causing a Strain. It was not clear until April 19, 2005 after the injured employee was seen by a Specialist whether the injury was work-related. Injured employee is having Left Knee Surgery April 27, 2005.
EE WAS HELPING THE MECHANIC AT THE SHOP AT THE PITS. HE WAS CLIMBING UP ON THE EUCLID AND NEAR THE TOP WHEN HE REACHED FOR THE BRACKET HOLDING THE REAR VIEW MIRROR. A BOLT HOLDING THE BRACKET BROKE CAUSING HIM TO FALL. HE HIT HIS BACK ON A METAL PLATE THAT HOLDS THE DUMP. HE ALSO HIT HIS HEAD ON ANOTHER PLATE.
PERSON WAS PUSHING A LOAD OF MATERIAL TO THE LOADER USING A WHEELBARREL. AS HE TURNED HE STRESSED HIS BACK.
EE WAS CLEANING THE ELEVATORS AND TALC FELL INTOBOTH EYES.
HAD SNOW & ICE & EE WAS COVERING BAGS IN A RAIL CAR. HE TURNED & SLIPPED & FELL ON HIS BACK.
WHILE HAND MOVING JOURNAL. FOOT SLIPPED THEN PERSON AND JOURNAL AT SAME TIME FELL TO FLOOR, PINNING PERSON TO FLOOR.
PERSON WAS LYING ON HIS BACK WELDING. FLASH FROMWELDER ILLUMINATED UNDER THE MASK CHIN COMPARTMENT AND BURNED HIS EYES.
EE WAS TRANSFERING A 50 LB BAG OF MATERIAL FROM ONE PALLET TO ANOTHER. AS EMPLOYEE TWISTED SHE FELT PAIN IN HER LOWER BACK.
EMPLOYEE WAS BAGGING TALC, THE BAG SLIPPED AS HE REACHED FOR IT, TWISTING HIS LEFT WRIST. HE DIDN'T TELL US UNTIL 2-24-00. SENT HIM TO THE DOCTOR, THE DOCTOR PUT A WRIST BAND ON IT AND HE RETU RNED TO WORK.
