While erecting the C-3 take-up structure two employees were holding up an 8'x 8' column to have 2 bolts installed by another employee on the ground when they lost their hold on the column. It fell over and struck a support beam that was laying on the ground causing the column to bounce up and the corner of the column hit the employee in the face as EE tried to move out of the way.

Mostrando los 16The injured was putting the thimble on the new skip and noticed that it needed a couple more shims. While pushing the pin out, thumb entered the hole and was injured between the thimble and the draw bar.
Removing drill motor when it fell on foot of the miner.
Operator was adjusting the width of the forks on a telehandler. While making the adjustment, the operator's hand slipped, and their finger was pinched between the fork and the back frame. Operator received stitches on their finger.
Employee was trying to slide the emulsion pump over and cut/smashed their little finger/right hand while doing this task.
The miner was installing roof bolt, some salt dust fell on EE's face and behind safety glasses. The miner continued the work. next day: EE's eye was itching and went to urgent care and found small unknown foreign body in EE' eye. The Miner notified management on Monday morning 7/24/2023. EE was sent again to the doctor to be checked and released back to work per doctor's direction.
Employee was pulling on the v-belts to spin the dust collector fan. Once EE stopped pulling on the belts, the fan rolled backwards pinching EE's fingers between the belts and pulley.
As employee was helping to lift a Rotex screen, EE felt a "pop" in the right shoulder
The employee was pulling a steering cylinder out of a machine, the cylinder slipped and caught the employee's left thumb between the cylinder and frame of the machine, resulting in a broken left thumb.
An employee was attempting to open a seized truck latch by manually pulling on it. In doing so, the employee over exerted their shoulder. The following day the employee reported it to their supervisor. The employee was taken for evaluation at a health clinic, where employee was placed on restricted duty.
Doing a team lift on a hoist framework and felt a sharp pain, was seen and placed on lift/carry restrictions on 5/25/22. Restrictions removed on 6/6/22
While tightening a conveyor belt using a adjusting wheel, the employee felt a pull in lower back. Employee stopped using the wheel until another maintenance person arrived to help.
While shortening the rope on the #2 hoist, the thimble assembly pin was removed and two employees pulled on the rope to remove it from the bracket. When the thimble was free of the bracket, the rope twisted, the thimble swung and struck the miner in the face (hitting miner's hardhat and safety glasses). The miner received lacerations around eye and was taken to urgent care.
After loading a tanker truck the employee strained EE's back as EE pulled self up onto the loading platform. The trailer EE had completed loading was lower than other trailers causing a larger area between the trailer and the loading platform
Employee was using a pry bar to close a gate on the rail car. After closing the gate, the employee threw the pry bar to the ground, causing a rock to fly up in the air and strike the employee in the eye. The employee was not wearing safety glasses.
Employee was removing the left front tire off of the #3 Horizontal Drill to repair broken lugs. EE left a couple of lugs on to hold the tire but they broke off. The tire fell off hitting EE on the left shoulder and pinning EE's right leg under the tire.
