Mostrando los 14The wire saw operator was in the process of installing a metal wedge under a granite block. While hitting the wedge with a sledge hammer, a piece of the block (85lbs) came loose and partially hit the miner's left shoulder.
EE was pounding on 18" wedges to split a stone. EE missed and the hammer bounced back and split head open. EE cut forehead.

WHILE SWINGING A SLEDGE HAMMER AGAINST A GRANITA WALL THE HAMMER BROKE AND EE HIT HIS HAND AGAINST THE WALL.
EE WAS CUTTING A 3/4" HOSE WITH A HACKSAW. THE DHACKSAW SLIPPED AND CUT HIS FINGER
EE WAS SWINGING A SLEDGE HAMMER AT 3 1/2" WEDGES AND FELT PAIN IN HIS LEFT WRIST.
EE WAS SHOWING A NEW EE HOW TO HIT 18" WEDGES THAT WERE STUCK INSTONE AND THE HAMMER HEAD CAME OFF STRIKING EE LEFT KNEE.
EE WAS DRIVING 18" WEDGES ON HIS KNEES AND GOT A SMALL CHIP OF STONE STUCK IN HIS KNEE CAUSING AN INFECTION.
EE WAS PUTTING A SETTING PIN IN A STONE. THEN HE PUT HIS HAND BETWEEN THE HOISTING CHAINS AND SHACKLE, PINCHING HIS HQAND AND FINGERS.
