Mostrando los 5Employee was cutting belt to be used as guard for feeder batwing. He was cutting belt when his knife slipped and cut his hand. Employee had gloves on but was cut between thumb and index finger. He was given first aid onsite and transported to Shelby County hospital. He received three stitches.
The employee was utilizing a utility knife to trim a piece of belt when his hand inadvertently slipped and cut his left hand. The laceration was 2.5 inches long and better than 1/4 inch deep. He received 5 sutures in order to close the wound. He was treated and released to full duty.

The employee was attempting to remove a sprocket from the cutter head of the superior high wall miner by striking it with a 4 lb. hammer. Where upon a small piece of metal broke off of the sprocket striking the employee and becoming lodged in his left eye.
