The Fane truck driver was unloading a trailer full of clinker. As he was raising the 30' box it became unstable at half it's height position and tipped both box and truck onto the driver's side. NOTE: LEHIGH NORTHEAST CEMENT CO WAS NOT AWARE, UNTIL RECENTLY, THAT THIS INCIDENT RESULTED IN INJURIES THAT WOULD HAVE MADE THIS MSHA REPORTABLE.

Mostrando los 5While pushing up clinker with loader, employee was scraping south side of shed floor. While backing up, employee alleges to have hit concrete wall with rear of loader, causing neck to be hurt on left side.
Employee was driving on the New York State Thruway when a turkey flew into the driver's side of the company van windshield, causing shattered glass fragments to fly into both of employee's eyes.
The employee was installing electrical cables into an electrical tray when he was struck by a ragged piece of limestone approx. 4"x3"x2" that fell from the 957 conveyor belt approx. 45'1. This caused an abrasion and swelling to his left side just above his waist.
THE EE WAS OPERATING THE BIG BOBCAT TO CLEAN UNDER THE FINISH MILL FEED BELTS. WHILE CLEANING IN THE AREA, DUST CREATED BY THE BELT CONVEYORS AND OPERATION OF MOBILE EQUIPMENT GOT INTO EMPLOYE E'S RIGHT EYE.
