Miner was working on the exhaust system of a 345 Cat Excavator when they lost balance and fell approximately six feet and hit the ground. They landed on their left side and fractured the radius bone near the wrist.

CRANE WAS LOWERING LARGE PIECE OF STEEL INTO PLACE. EE WAS GUIDING IT, SLIPPED AND CAUGHT LITTLE FINGER BETWEEN STEEL AND POSITION, AMPUTATION OF END OF FINGER BETWEEN 2ND JOINT AND FINGERNAIL .
