REMOVING A BELT CLAMP FROM A 54" CONVEYOR BELT. HE THOUGHT HE HAD HIS HAND UNDER THE ENTIRE CLAMP AND STARTED PULLING IT OFF THE END OF THE BELT. HE HAD HIS HAND BETWEEN THE CLAMP HALVES AND THE TOP CAME DOWN SMASHING THE MIDDLE THREE FINGERS ON HIS RIGHT HAND.

Employee was removing a inpullor from a pump in the shop and when the inpullor came off it caught his right index finger cutting it.

EE was hooking a 1/2 inch chain to a stacker and did not realize that the chain was under the pin and as he rested his hand on the pin it popped up cutting the palm of his left hand.

Employee was drilling holes mounting a fender. The drill bit caught and forced the employee's hand through a head light cutting his hand.
EE was moving a 55 gallon drum off of a tommy lift to put the from in the storage. The drum fell and landed on the ee left foot. The ee was taken to the hospital and it was determined his foot was broken.

Cutting backwall support off of frame, he used pry bar to see if it was cut all the way. Pry bar slipped, pinching his thumb between support and pry bar rusulting in needing four stitches to repair slice in thumb.

EE WAS EXITING A PARTS TRAILER WHEN HE SLIPPED ON THE BOTTOM STEP. AS HE WAS FALLING, HE HIT THE BACK OF HIS HEAD ON THE TOP METAL STEP. EE RECEIVED 9 STITCHES AS A RESULT.
EE EXPERIENCING BACK PAIN. NOT CERTAIN AS TO THE INITIAL CAUSE OF THE INJURY. JOB DUTIES RECENTLY HAVE CHANGED DUE TO WINTER SHUT DOWN. NEW DUTIES INVOLVE HEAVY LIFTING AND MECHANICAL WORK. WO RK SURFACE HAS CHANGED POSSIBLY AGGRAVATING CONDITION.
A MECHANIC FROM THE ROBINS SHOP WAS AT A SURFACE LOCATION (MONTOUR QUARRY) TO SERVICE A DUMP TRUCK. THE MECHANIC HAD THE BED RAISED PARTIALLY TO HAVE ACCESS TO THE BRAKE CYLINDERS. WHILE DETER MINING WHERE THE AIR LEAK WAS, SOME MATERIAL WHICH HAD BEEN FROZEN IN THE BOX RELEASED AND SLID DOWN. THE MECHANIC (WHO WAS DIRECTLY BEHIND TAILGATE) PULLED AWAY AS THE MATERIAL HIT THE TAILG

DRILLING WITH A HAND DRILL WHEN THE DRILL BIT CAUGHT, RESULTING IN THE HANDLE TO SPIN A PINCHEING THE EE HAND BETWEEN THE DRILL AND A TRASMISSION PAN. RESULTING IN A 1.5 CM LACERATION RECEIVIN G 2 SUTURES.
MECHANIC WAS INSTALLING A DRIVE SHAFT. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO SECURE ONE END, THE OTHER END (WHICH HAD BEEN TEMPORARLIY SECURED) SLIPPED, REUSLTINGIN THE MECHANIC'S HAND BEING PINCHED IN THE UNIV ERSAL JOINT. RESULTED IN ONE SUTURE.
