WHILE PERFORMING MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES ON AN HP 400 CONE CRUSHER, TEAM MEMBER WAS REMOVING PIN FROM HYDRAULIC CYLINDER ON AN HP 400. WHEN PIN WAS REMOVED, THE HYDRAULIC CYLINDER CAME DOWN PINCHING LEFT PINKY FINGER BETWEEN CYLINDER AND OBJECT USED TO REMOVE PIN. FINGER REQUIRED STITCHES.

INJURY OCCURRED ON 5/3/19 BUT MINER DID NOT SEEK TREATMENT UNTIL 5/13/19. ANTIBIOTIC PRESCRIBED AS A PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE FOR BURSITIS OF THE KNEE RESULTING FROM CONTINUOUS WORK WHILE MINER WAS CRAWLING/KNEELING ON EE'S KNEES.
