A warehouse supervisor was moving a large battery from a wheeled cart onto a pallet, when the battery slipped off the edge and caught the supervisor's finger between the cart and the battery, causing a laceration that required stitches.

A plant technician strained their back and shoulder moving a bearing on 05/21/2018. They continued to work at full duty until they had shoulder surgery on 01/18/2019. They began losing time on 01/25/2019.

While walking across a flat area of packed snow, employee slipped and fell, resulting in fractures to the scapula.

Nelson Brothers detonated an explosives blast in the R3 Coal of the 6-West Pit of Coal Creek Mine. Burning coal dust was carried by north winds and ignited a grass fire south of the pit perimeter, at the fence line between Coal Creek Mine and Dennis L. Edwards. The fire burned 12.1 acres of prairie in the northeast corner of the Edwards property.

Three plant technicians were removing grout from between the railroad tracks when a large section broke and fell from a skid steer bucket, causing a pry bar to flip up and hit an employee in the jaw. This resulted in multiple fractures to the left lower jaw.

As the employee's second foot contacted the ground after step over, his foot slipped and he lost balance causing him to fall backwards onto the tongue of the skid steer trailer fracturing three ribs on his right side. Walking surface was melting snow and ice.

Employee used his hand to help guide a drill bit that had become stuck. When the drill started, the employee's glove became entangled in the bit causing a fingertip amputation of the left hand, fourth fingertip.

A wrench slipped off while tightening a hose fitting and the employee lacerated his first and second knuckles on a metal edge. It required stitches to close the wound.

A mechanic slipped while using a knife to cut a wire-tie and cut his left hand. It required stitches to repair.

While removing the last bolt on the hitch assembly for the belly dump trailer, the underside of the mechanic's left forearm was pinched. The result was a laceration requiring sutures.

Water truck driver saw smoke and flames in the area of the primary crusher. When the smoke and dust cleared, an explosion door was found to be off the #2 dust collector

The technician fell down while walking along the #1 conveyor causing an avulsion fracture to the top of the left shoulder.

Employee was operating vertical metal boring equipment. Employee was brushing metal cuttings away with gloved hand. Cuttings cut glove and hand. Finger required 12 stitches.

The technician was struck in the left shin with a piece of metal when striking a ripper tooth with a hammer. The resulting laceration required sutures.

The technician walked approximately 20 feet from his equipment to look the work area over. While walking back to the equipment, he experienced pain on his right knee cap from repetitive motion.

PULLING FUEL HOSE FROM LUBE TRUCK AND FELT PAIN IN NECK.

EE CLAIMS THAT A LOAD OF OVERBURDEN DROPPED INTO HIS TRUCK DURING THE NORMAL LOADING PROCESS, JARRED HIM AROUND AND CREATED A CRAMP IN HIS NECK.

HELPING A SICK EE FROM A PIECE OF EQUIPMENT TO THE GROUND AND STRAINED BACK.
