A shuttle car operator drove in to the corner of a rib while tramming from the miner to the feeder. The operator's right shoulder was caught between the frame of the shuttle car and the rib causing a cut.

Mostrando los 21An employee was riding on the passenger side of a rubber tire personnel carrier. The personnel carrier was traveling on the rail/track. The ride slipped off of the track. The passenger employee had right hand on the side and under the carrier. At this time, the passenger employee's right hand got caught between the frame of the ride and the rail.
An employee reported that they ran over a crib block in the #7 entry outby the #3 Section while operating a Lo-Trac. Employee reported that this caused them to bounce up off of the seat causing both numbness and cold feelings in their feet.
While tramming a scoop on the working section, the operator backed over top of a rock and jarred EE's head against the side of the operator's deck.
The employee was pulling conveyor belt with a scoop and a wire rope. The wire rope ripped through the conveyor belt striking the employee above the right eye.
This report is being submitted under protest. The operator does not believe that an event occurred that led to a personal injury: The employee was operating a Fairchild scoop. Employee stated that employee ran over something in the roadway that caused the scoop to throw employee up in to the mine roof, striking employee's head.
The employee was driving a battery powered three wheeler in the primary escapeway toward the section. EE traveled under a cable that was hung up by rope hangers with a hook on each end. EE didn't see that one of the hooks had come loose and was hanging. The hanging hook caught EE's coveralls and EE was dragged up between the ride and the mine roof.
The injured was sitting on the end of a shuttle car with feet on the ground when another employee, who was operating a three-wheeled personnel carrier, inadvertently struck the injured with the personnel carrier.
Employee was tramming scoop and attempted to angle over to the left to move a bucket insert when the deck of the scoop hit a timber laying in a pile and the timber came into the deck and hit his right hand resulting in a cut to the index finger and a serious cut to the little finger (pinky).
Employee was riding a 3 wheeled buggy. He was making a pre-shift check and the buggy ran into a small hole in the roadway causing a jolt that caused bruising to his hip and lower back as he landed on his mine rescuer that was on his belt.
Employee was sitting in the mantrip that had a buggy cable coming from the power center hanging over head. The cable anchor was taken down to move the cable up. When the buggy was started it jerked the cable down and hit employee in the cap and head straining his neck.He was put on 5 days of light duty.
Employee was bringing a load of trash to the surface when he ran a scoop into the rib and broke 3 ribs and hurt his shoulder. He is working on restricted duty. The restricted days will be reported when he is able to work at full duty. He reported the scoop stuck on point. The scoop was inspected by company personnel and no defects could be found.
Employee was riding the mantrip to the surface, riding on the off side, as the mantrip was getting ready to go into a turn it scrubbed the rib. The employee got his left foot (toes area) caught between the rib and mantrip railing causing a laceration to the big toe and his big toe and the one next to it was also broken.
A spare tire lying on the mantrip caught a hanging cable and drug the tire, hitting the employee in the back of the head, pushing his neck into his chest causing a strained muscle. He continued to work but was on restricted work for 3 days.
Employee went to the section drive and started the drive. As he was turning the personnel ride he backed into a roof bolt with a pizza pan on it. He bent his neck down unto his chest causing a pulled muscle. He has been on restricted duty and has a full return to work slip.
Employee was backing a 3 wheeler up on the belt line to check a rib near the #5 drive when he backed up on some rock and caused his head to go into the top. A musle was pulled in his neck. He is working on restricted duty. Additional days will be reported when he returns to full duty.
An air lock door was blocked opened with a header and as a scoop went through the door the header fell and the employee grabbed the door and got his fingers mashed when the door went against the top. The employee had given prior notice that he was quitting going to work for another mine and that this was his last shift working for us.
Employee was standing behind a 3-wheel ride and was told that it was going to be moved. The ride moved in the wrong direction and caught the employee between the ride and feeder.
