EE was drilling hole into mine roof to install roof bolt, after drilling ee was removing drill steels when the top drill steel fell out of the roof striking ee on the finger resulting in a laceration, cause of accident was lack of concentration. EE was on the L/W face pulling shields, a rock fell from between the shields striking employee in the right cheek, EE abruptly moved head to avoid rock and strained neck.
