Confirmation of shift in hearing
While changing a screen on rock shaker, miner rolled from one side to the other while lying down on his back. While rolling miner twisted and felt an extreme pain in his lower back.

Miner opened hood of water truck, as he stepped down onto his right foot he rolled his ankle. All of his weight went to the side of his ankle, resulting in an ankle sprain.

While working on a loader EE left a Portable power cylinder unattended. He bent over to fill hydraulic fluid on the same unit. The portable power cylinder came loose and fell about 2.5 feet striking him on the back of his head and neck. EE did have his hard hat on. Blunt head trauma and scalp wound.

Walking to shop, twisted left ankle.
Employee was zipp tying a loose hose to water truck. While cutting off the excess hose he cut towards his body instead of away from his body and he cut the palm of his left hand.
Walking out of tunnel with a hammer in one hand and a rod in the other hand, he slipped on loose rocks and fell down.

CO-WORKER JUMPED BACK, INJURED TRIED TO HOLD APPROX 500 LBS, BOTTOM SLIPPED AWAY TOP TRAPPED AND BROKE RIGHT LEG.
EE WAS STANDING ON CROSS BRACING OF A GRIZZLEY FRAME, TYING DOWN THE SPRINGS. FOOT PRINTS IN THE MOISTURE PLACED HIM 4 FT 9 IN ABOVE THE STEEL DECK, AT HIS HIGHEST LEVEL. IT WAS 7:00 AM AND A HEAVY DEW HAD COVERED THE DREDGE AND AKK COMPONENENTS. HE TURNED TO JUMP DOWN, LOST HIS GRIP, HIS FEET SLIPPED, LOST FOOTING AND FELL TO DECK, EXTENDING HIS LEFT ARM TO BRACE HIMSELF, RESULTIN

EMPLOYEE WAS PRUNG OPEN A SET OF GATES ON A BOTTOM DUMP TRUCK. GATES SPRUNG OPEN. THE BAR HE WAS USING TO PRY WITH FLEW BAC HITTING HIM IN CHEST.
EMPLOYEE WAS SWEEPING THE BOTTOM OF A MAGNET WITH A BAR THAT WAS DESIGNED FOR IT. IN SWEEPING MOTION HAND SLIPPED OFF AND RAN ACROSS A SHARP PIECE OF PLATE THAT WAS WELDED TO MAG. CUTTING THUM 1" IN LENGTH REQUIRING STITCHES.
