Employee was standing in a crosscut, away from where a group was sheaving the belt take up back, when the sheaving device broke free. EE was struck with mud, rock, and debris causing corneal abrasions and a hairline fracture in orbital. EE was prescribed medicated eye drops and released.

Employee was removing rock from the on top of the continuous miner using a slate bar. The rock slid over and struck EE in the arm causing a laceration.

Employee was using a railroad jack to reposition a beam under a belt head when the bar slipped out of their hand and struck them just under the lip.

Employee was using a handheld chain ratchet set to hold one side of a pre-wet shaker screen as EE was changing a feed end spring on the shaker. In the process of changing the spring, the hook broke on the ratchet set resulting in the employee's hand to get caught between the spring.

The employee was using a chain ratchet set when the chain broke striking the employee in the lower left leg.

Employee was using manual ratchet chain hoist to free a stuck flight and the as they released the hoist a hand was pinched between two of the chain links.

Employee was making a belt splice and was striking the end of the splice with a hammer when a piece of metal broke loose and struck EE in the arm.

Employee was making a cable repair and the knife slipped cutting the employee on the upper right leg.

Employee was making a belt splice and started to skive the belt and cut left index finger with the belt knife.

Employee was tightening a bolt when the socket being used broke striking the individual causing a laceration.

Employee was using allen wrench to remove bolts from wheel unit. While attempting to loosen the bolt, they struck it with a hammer and the allen wrench came out of the bolt and went under their safety glasses and struck them just above the left eye causing a laceration.

Employee was installing a pin in a track. The employee struck the pin with a hammer and a piece of metal broke loose and penetrated EE's right leg. The employee traveled to Logan Regional Medical center and was released to return to work. After a few days, the employee continued to have discomfort and returned to the hospital on 9/13/19 and had the metal removed.

Putting tie under track rail & rail slid off slate bar and mashed fingers.

The employee claims that EE felt a sharp pain in EE's wrist while removing a bolt with a ratchet. EE recently returned to work from a non-work related injury on 4/9/18. An independent medical evaluation (IME) on 5/1/2018 determined that at the time of the incident of 4/20/2018, there was no new injury to the right wrist. Ramaco Resources, LLC is disputing this accident.

Employee was using a metal pipe to dislodge material from a sweeper truck and caught middle left finger between pipe and a fender on truck.
