Over-exertion (Not Elsewhere Classified)

Man got off dozer at break, climbed back up onto track when he felt a sharp pain in lower back. Notified foreman next day stating he was going to get checked out. Came back 11/1/07 with note of pinced nerve in lower back; medicine and MRI scheduled 11/5/07.

Struck by flying object

This employee was jack hammering ice & frozen material from a crusher when he was struck in the left eye with a piece of debris.

Several miners were assigned to clean the #6 belt line. When the conveyor was started one miner continued to clean around the head pulley with a 4' bar. The bar was pulled into the pulley & the end of the bar struck his right hand causing injury.
