Accident type, without injuries

Brush fire spread to an abandoned storage bldg and ignited bldg.

Over-exertion (Not Elsewhere Classified)

Exiting loader, missed last 2 steps of ladder, held on with Rt hand and feet sharp pain in Rt shoulder.

Struck against a moving object

Employee was driving service truck thru pit on haul road. EE drove into a large water formed pothole and jarred back.

Contact with hot objects or substances

Employees were in process of removing a pump from a mine shaft. When one employee started to cut a drive shaft coupling with a torch, a gas ignition occurred causing burns to another employee.

Fall to the walkway or working surface

Employee was using back of truck as a work platform to reach dragline trip cable. EE tripped and fell on EE's back in the box of the truck.

Unclassified, insufficient data

Employee became ill at work and was taken away by ambulance. After review with hospital it was determined that this was not a work related condition.
