Over-exertion (Not Elsewhere Classified)

Worker was lifting a piece of stone 2'X 4"" when he lost his footing and slipped. He twisted to regain his balance and injured his R wrist.

Struck against stationary object

Worker was walking and stepped on a small piece of stone causing him to twist on his right knee causing a sprain to the knee.

Struck by... (Not Elsewhere Classified)

Worker was using a hammer and chisel to split stone. A small piece of the chisel broke off and lodged in his Right knee. Worker did NOT report the injury until the end of the shift. (4:30) Worker was sent to the clinic. Meds. and restricted duty. Will be re-evaluated on 04/01/2010.
