AN ELKHORN AR-4 BATTERY SCOOP OPERATED BY VICTIM WAS BEING TRAMMED FROM THE SCOOP PILE LEVEL TO THE MINE PORTAL LEVEL ON THE SURFACE NEAR THE TOP OF THE INCLINE RAODWAY. THE SCOOP STARTED TO ROLL BACKWARDS DOWNGRADE & STRUCK THE UPPER HILLSIDE BANK. A LARGE BOULDER WAS DISLODGED & FELL ON TO THE OPERATOR COMPARTMENT STRIKING & IMPALING THE VICTIM ON THE END OF T HE DEENERGIZEIN
