THE INJURED WAS OPERATING A 988A FRONT END LOADER IN THE 003 PIT OF THIS OPERATION AND WAS INFORMED AT SUPPER TIME OF HIS SHIFT THAT PART OF THE ROADWAY THAT HAD BEEN IN USE WOULD BE MINED OUT AND NOT TO TRAVEL THAT WAY. AT THE END OF THE SHIFT WHEN THE REST OF THE EMPLOYEES LEFT THE PIT HE TRAVELED OVER THE MINED OUT ROADWAY, OVERTURNING THE LOADER AND FATALLY INJURING HIMSELF.
