THE MINE EXPERIENCED A RIB RUN OF COAL DUE TO THE COLLAPSE OF 3 RIB SUPPORTS (TIMBER) OF THE UPPER RIB OF THE EAST SUMP GANGWAY APPROXIMATELY 55 FEET INBY THE MAIN SLOPE. THE VICTIM WAS WORKIN G IN THIS AREA AT THE TIME OF THE COLLAPSE.
