As a load of slabs were being picked up, one slab broke in the middle and fell toward employee, hitting them in the chest and knocked them back against the concrete wall

EE AND OTHER QUARRY EES WERE PREPARING THE WALL FOR CUTTING, TRYING TO GET ALL LOOSE CHUNKS OF STONE OUT OF THE WALL TO PREVENT THEM FROM FALLING ON THE SAW. A STONE FELL FROM THE WALL, HITTIN G A PIECE OF DRILL STEEL. THE DRILL STEEL FLEW UP, HITTING EE ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF HIS HEAD-FACE AND NECK AREA-CAUSING A FRACTURE TO THE BONE OF HIS FACE AND STRAIN TO HIS NECK.
