EE was cleaning out a rotary valve. Located by the valve is an on/off stop station. EE did not stop the rotary valve and the valve fins caught his right middle finger. The edge of his finger was removed at the fingernail length. (AMPUTATION AT MIDDLE OF DISTAL PHALANGE.)
