Employee's pinky was pinched between a winch block and the dredge ladder.

Struck by falling object

The employee was attempting to replace a return roller. EE laid the roller on two pieces of angle iron and was resting hand on the conveyor frame while EE waited on someone to come help. For some reason the roller fell off the angle iron and struck EE's hand. This caused an amputation to the distal phalanx on right ring finger.

EE WAS INSTALLING MARINE CABLE ON PONTOON. THIS CABLE IS VERY HEAVY AND HAS TO BE LAID ACROSS FLATING PONTOONS WHILE THE EE WAS TRYING TO PUT CABLE ON PONTOON HE FELL IN WORK BOAT AND HIT HIS LEFT SHOULDER ON EDGE OF BOAT AND KNOCKED HIS SHOULDER OUT OF THE JOINT.
