Two employees were reinstalling a tail pulley guard on the fines belt of a portable crusher. As the guard was being lifted back into place with a skid-steer, the injured employee placed EE's right middle finger into an opening on the guard and the frame of the machine, pinching EE's finger. The tip of the finger had a small fracture and required eight stitches.

EE was assisting with a drag rope exchange when the tip of their left pinky finger became pinched by the tugger rope. Their fingertip was severed, requiring stitches.
