An accident occurred at this operation on July 5, 2006, when a miner was attempting to remove a drive line from a 1983 Ford single axle dump truck. The truck then rolled over the miner causing a brked collar bone, fractured pelvis a bruised kidney and mild concussion.

While employee was dismounting a grader his foot became hung in the last step of the chain steps resulting in a fall to the ground. He was facing away from the machine when he dismounted. His injuries included a massive bruise on his upper leg, several superficial scrapes on his elbow and a couple small fractures in his pelvis bone.
An employee was shoveling rocks from under one of the bins when he dislocated his right shoulder. The employee has dislocated his shoulder at least once within the past two years which was one of the contributing factors that caused his injury. A poor angle and too much force while shoveling would be the remaining factors that caused this injury.

Employee was trying to free a stone from the surge bin with a pry-bar. The pry-bar slipped from the stone sending his momentum toward the machine. His hand got smashed between the machine and pry-bar resulting in an open wound fracture to his pinky finger on his left hand.
EE WAS GREASING EQUIPMENT WHEN HE PULLED ON THE GREASE HOSE TO REEL THE HOSE UP. THE GREASE HOSE NOZZLE STRUCK HIS HAND AGAINST THE TRUCK, RESULTING IN A DEEP BRUISE AND SWELLING. X-RAYS CAN N OT BE TAKEN UNTIL THE SWELLING GOES DOWN. THE DOES NOT SUSPECT A BREAK AT THIS TIME.
