M. R. Paving & Excavating, Inc. · Caught in, under or between a moving and a stationary object

The operation was crushing recycle concrete and asphalt 40% and mixing it with a 60% sand-gravel mixture. With a little wet clay in the sand-gravel mix, the crusher jaws plugged up. The operator, trying to unplug the jaws, reached in to pull out a larger chunk of concrete. His finger got pinched between the concrete and crushed the tip of his right middle finger.
