DRILL WAS IN VERTICAL POSITION ON A PLATFORM 3' HIGH. THE LEG VIBRATED OFF AS THE STEEL HUNG UP IN HOLE. I STEPPED OFF THE PLATFORM TO LIFT THE LEG BACK TO PLATFORM. THEN THE STEEL RELEASED ALLOWING THE MACHINE AND LEG TO FALL STRAIGHT DOWN 3' ON MY FOOT.

THE EE WANTED TO START UP A GENERATOR. HE JUMPED UP ON THE TRAILER PLATFORM (2' HIGH) TO START THE ENGINE, BUT HE SLIPPED AND FELL ON HIS RIGHT HAND. HIS HAND STARTED TO SWELL AND HE FELT PA IN. HE REPORTED HIS INJURY TO HIS LEAD MINER. THE LEAD MINER BROUGHT HIM TO GET MEDICAL ATTENTION.
