Struck by flying object

When he first went to the clinic they did first aid and said to leave the metal in that it would be ok. Now he has an infection and the metal has moved into a muscle, so now they will be doing surgery on 9/22/10. What had happen was he was removing a belt clam with a hammer and the chisel made for belt clams when a piece of metal went into his leg.

Beating in a wedge when the hammer slipped off and smashed his finger between the shaker and hammer. Smashing his right index finger.

EE was drilling with the beetle drill. He moved the pipe wrench from the holding position around to break the steel from the power head smashing his finger between the wrench and the tracks on the drill.

Struck against a moving object

EE was being loaded with material when the bucket of the loader came down and hit the bed of the haul truck. EE was jarred when the bucket hit.

Fall from machine

EE was exiting the locomotive when his foot got hung on the bottom step and he fell on his hands and knees.

He was taking out kingpins when his hammer slipped and smashed his finger.
