Employee was swatting at a wasp. In the process the employee was stepping backwards and not watching the steps behind. The employee walked off a step and fell onto their back. The employee sustained a compression fracture to the L1 vertebrae.

Central City Consolidated Mining Company · Absorption of radiations, caustics, toxic and noxious substances

Chemical burn to feet, lime solution 8%. Safety gear provided not used ie. rubber boots. Third degree burns in areas of the feet. Antibiotic (cephalexin) and, (Oxycodine) pain killer were prescribed. Has not been released to come to work at this time.
