THE EMPLOYEE WAS ATTMEPTING TO VERIFY THE STABILITY OF A FORKLIFT OPERATED DRUM LIFT. WHEN THE EMPLOYEE SHOOK THE TOP OF THE DRUM IT SLIPPED THROUGH THE RETAINING MECHANISM OF THE LIFT. THE EMPLOYEE'S RIGHT PALM WAS PINCHED BETWEEN THE DRUM AND THE GRIPPING EMCHANISM. TWO SUTURS WERE REQUIRED TO CLOSE THE WOUND.
