WHILE OPERATING THE CONTINUOUS MINER HE WAS LOADING A SHUTTLE CAR WHEN A PIECE OF ROCK WAS THROWN FROM CONVEYOR STRIKING OPERATOR ONT HE LEFT SIDE OF HIS FACE. CAUSING A LACERATION TO HIS FORE HEAD AND CHEEK. LACERATION REQUIRED STITCHES.
