June 21, 2005 MD · Coal haul/off road/coal/ore/pit/quarry/rock/rubber tire truck driver, transportation truck driver POWERED HAULAGE
Clise Coal Company Inc · Struck against a moving object

EE was operating the rock truck hauling coal out of the pit area. As he exited the pit area via a road ramped up to the existing haulage road, the wheels lost traction due to the ramp being wetted down to control dust. The truck began sliding backwards into the pit and the operator turned the truck into the embankment, forcing the truck to lay over on the driver's side.
