EE PULLED ON A PIECE OF STRUCTURE THAT WAS AMONGOTHER STRUCTURE. WHEN THE STRUCTURE FREED, IT PENETRATED HIS LEFT THIGH(UPPER). HE WAS TRASPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL BY AMBULANCE.
EE WAS RIDING MANTRIP TO SECTIONS SITTING ON HIS KNEE WHEN MANTRIP SLID INTO MOTOR PARKED AT BRK 264 BELT CAUSING HIM TO GO FRONTWARD AND KNEE GO BACK UNDER HIM. NOTE: WHEN WE CAME BACK FROM V ACATION ON 1/2/02 WE WERE NOTIFIED OF THIS ACCIDENT.
EMPLOYEE WAS ABOARD THE MAN TRIP ON HIS WAY OUTSIDE THE MINE. PRESENTLY THE MANTRIP WAS STATIONARY. A 15 TON MOTOR VEHICLE CAME BACKWARDS ABOUT THE DISTANCE OF ONE BREAK AND BUMPED THE MANTRIP . THIS OCCURRENCE CAUSED CONTUSIONS AND MUSCLE STRAIN IN HIS LOWER RIGHT HIP.
A ROOF FALL OCCURRED AT THE RESOURCE ENERGY MINE SITE MEASURING 20' X 19' X 8' HIGH. SUPPORT CONSISTED OF 5' RESIN BOLTS AND STRATA IS SHALE ROCK. THIS AREA WILL BE REHABILITATED. LOCATION OF FALL - #1 ENTRY 1 BRK OUTBY SPAD #173.
