Struck by flying object
Limestone blast on 9/11 shot fly rock skipping across quarry floor over 500 ft. Approx 3"" rock skipped over rock berm, which was protecting employee, and struck on left cheek.

Pipe handle on the ratchet miner was using slid off and hit him on the forehead. Forehead cut & miner needed 7 stitches. He was taken to the emergency room. No concussion found. Miner sent home from hospital the same afternoon the accident occurred.
