Holtmeier Construction Inc · Struck by flying object

Limestone blast on 9/11 shot fly rock skipping across quarry floor over 500 ft. Approx 3" rock skipped over rock berm, which was protecting employee, and struck on left cheek.

Holtmeier Construction Inc · Struck by... (Not Elsewhere Classified)

Pipe handle on the ratchet miner was using slid off and hit him on the forehead. Forehead cut & miner needed 7 stitches. He was taken to the emergency room. No concussion found. Miner sent home from hospital the same afternoon the accident occurred.
