THE EE WAS USING A SLEDGE HAMMER TO REPLACE A PIN FOR A TRACK LINK ON A 400 KOMATSU EXCAVATOR. WHILE STRIKING THE PIN WITH THE SLEDGE HAMMER, A SMALL PIECE OF METAL FROM THE PIN STRUCK THE EE IN HIS LEFT HAND. THE METAL SLIVER WAS REMOVED & HE WENT TO THE DOCTOR.
