Employee was helping H.D.Mechanic change bucket teeth on an excavator. He was holding the drive pin when his right thumb was pinched between the drive pin and the retainer pin. The thumb nail was torn off. He continued to work until lunch time. Later in the evening he was seen at the emer. room for x-ray ( not broken ) and dressing. He returned to work on his next scheduled shift.

Struck against a moving object

EE operating a Volco L150C front-end loader scooped up a bucket of ore, drove to hopper. As he drove a 1' x 3' chunk of ore fell out of bucket, EE drove over the chunk causing the EE to bounce in cab of front-end loader, causing the neck injury.

WHILE HELPING CLEAN UP UNDER CRUSHER, EMPLOYEE FELT PAIN IN LEFT SHOULDER SHOVELING FINES INTO LOADER BUCKET. AS OF AUGUST 1ST, 2002 EMPLOYEE'S PHYSICIAN HAS TAKEN HIM OFF WORK UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
