J&J Excavating & Materials Co. · Over-exertion in lifting objects

IE and another EE were moving a 125 lb grease container. EE got busy and IE decided to move the container on IE's own. IE lifted up the container and tried to put force on IE's arm to keep the barrel from falling and felt a stretch on IE's left bicep and shoulder. On 5/01/19 IE informed us that IE had a torn rotator cuff and will be needing surgery.

EE and another ee were moving a screen from the crusher when ee felt a pull on right shoulder immediately causing pain. EE informed us on 10/11/17 that ee had a torn rotator cuff and would be needing surgery.

Employee was standing on the track of the screener to clean rocks off the screener with a hoe. He misstep on the track and fell and hurt his right ankle/heel.
