Employee was tightening wedge bolts with a hammer wrench. When attempting to tighten the end bolt EE missed the wrench and struck their left ring finger. An x-ray determined that EE fractured the finger.

Miner broke hand while dismounting a loader tire with a hydraulic cylinder. The cylinder slipped while pressing off the inside bead of the tire, smashing their right hand against the boom arm. The miner consulted clinic by phone and initially treated with ice and ibuprofen. Company was aware of reportable injury when an x-ray revealed the fracture on 7/31

A miner was diagnosed with an inguinal hernia on July 29, 2019. EE believes it occurred on or around May 1, but was not able to provide a specific cause or incident. Surgery is not currently indicated but EE has been placed on restricted duty. EE reported the injury to us on July 29.
