CTS Earthmoving Inc · Struck against stationary object

Miner lacerated left. palmside ring finger from top knuckle to fingertip while lifting a gearbox guard without using required hand protection or proper team lifting techniques (improper lift planning.) Six stitches were required to treat the cut. Worker was treated and released to go back to work.

SLIPPED FROM WATER TRUCK TANK AT FILL STATION, NOT WEARING PERSONAL FALL ARREST EQUIPMENT, STRUCK HIS HEAD ON ROCK. NO CONCUSSION OR SERIOUS INJURY, 2 DAYS AWAY FROM WORK, THEN RELEASED BY DR. TO RESUME REGULAR DUTIES.
